Bruce Gonyea began writing as a hobby 15 years ago, and it culminated in his debut publication, The Tavern Files. His route to authoring took a unique turn after receiving medical retirement from the VA, an event that changed his outlook on life and its transient nature. Gonyea's writing approach is triggered by ordinary abnormalities that pique his interest, a technique inspired by his respect for Stephen King's command of suspense and terror.
